YMCA Outside School Hours Care

The YMCA’s approach to Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is to provide an environment that is safe and gives children the opportunity to learn and play.
YMCA Before School Care, After School Care and holiday care services offer a wide range of appropriate programs that reflect an understanding of the importance of middle childhood and the value of play.

Using a holistic approach, the YMCA of Brisbane has worked closely with school communities to develop our capacity to provide all care components – Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.  Commencing operations at Albany Creek State School in 1992 we've grown to managing 23 OSHC services across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

YMCA of Brisbane Before School Care and After School Care services are supported and resourced by a committed administrative team.  This management structure allows us to draw on a diverse wealth of knowledge and experience in the children’s services industry.  Some key factors that determine our ability to offer quality care include:
