Changes to Bookings

Two weeks prior notice in writing must be received by the Service to make any changes to a permanent booking. This will be confirmed by the Centre Manager and is subject to availability.

YMCA Parent Account Enquiry/Correction form can be used for any changes –this can be given to the Centre Manager.
Cancellation of Booking
Absences from the Service

The Service must be contacted if your child will not be attending care that day (Acacia Ridge 07 3277 6333, Strathpine 07 3205 7333)

Please note if the child is absent from the Centre on a day booked, fees are still payable.

Each child is eligible for CCB for the first 42 absences from care across all approved child care services during each financial year. These absences can be taken for any reason and do not require supporting documentation, but they are only available on a day on which care would otherwise have been provided if the child was not absent.
Fees

Accounts will be issued on a weekly basis and are due by Friday of each week.

Fees are to be paid for the days the child/ren are booked into the service including times when the child/ren is absent due to illness, holidays, camps, etc.

Collection of children after licensed operating hours, will incur the following fees:

Ten (10) minutes after closing, or part there of - $10.00 per child

After initial ten (10) minutes, every additional five (5) minute interval or part thereof - $10.00 per child.

Parents/Guardians who are repeatedly late will have their children withdrawn from the service.

A member of staff will co-sign the sign out rolls to confirm the time of departure.

Payments can be made by Bpay, credit card, EFTPOS or cheque at the Service.

As the YMCA is environmentally friendly accounts will be emailed where possible.
Overdue Fees

Additional fees will be charged for overdue accounts. Where an account is 14 days overdue, $5.00 will be added to the account (as shown on the invoice); fees remaining unpaid after 21 days of the due date, will result in the family enrolment being suspended; over 21 days, $36.00 administration fee will be added and the account sent to debt recovery.
Family Assistance

The YMCA is an approved childcare provider, for information regarding your entitlement for Family Assistance and Childcare Benefit (CCB) visit www.familyassist.gov.au or please phone 13 61 50. The YMCA is now under the new Child Care Management System (CCMS).
