Family Day Care

Family Day Care is a unique and rewarding child care solution for many families in Brisbane and Gold Coast regions.

Family Day Care provides high quality flexible child care in the homes of YMCA approved Educators.

Family Day Care provides affordable childcare in a small group setting within a family environment. Learning happens best when children feel safe and secure and YMCA Educators are carefully selected and provided with ongoing support to provide high quality childcare that meets the needs of families.

Family day care educators are early childhood education and care professionals who implement the YMCA National Approach to Learning underpinned by the principles and practices of the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) for children under school age and the My Time Our Place Framework for school aged children.

YMCA performs stringent and extensive recruitment processes, ensuring all Educators meet regulatory requirements and are of a high standard.

Family Day Care fosters strong, capable and competent learners. Educators provide children and families with experiences that extend on interests, reflect their local community and provides the opportunity for siblings to be together in a child care setting.

Fee assistance is available to eligible families.
