Outside School Hours Care Enquiry & Enrolment Process

How do I enrol at a YMCA outside school hours care?

You can enrol for OSCH through the My Family Lounge portal on our website. Click on the register button and create an account. You will be able to go on our waitlist and book in for casual days using My Family Lounge.

If you have any issues enrolling, please contact your local OSHC centre.

How is the waitlist managed?

We do our very best to make sure every child has a space at our services when they need it. The majority of our services do have vacancies however if there is a waitlist, families who have been on the waitlist the longest will be offered the first available positions.

How long should I expect to wait after putting my child’s name on a waitlist?

Waitlist times depend on service availability and the number of other families who are on the list. Please talk to your local service to find out more about their waitlist.

Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care Fees

How much does it cost at a YMCA OSHC?

Fees vary slightly from service to service. Please contact your local YMCA OSHC to find out their rates for outside school hours care and vacation care. We also offer the Child Care Subsidy for OSHC.

Do you provide families access to Child Care Subsidy?

Yes, YMCA Child Care is an Approved Provider for the Child Care Subsidy.

What happens if my scheduled day falls on a public holiday?

YMCA OSHC does not charge fees for Public Holidays.

Do I still need to pay for a scheduled day if my child is sick?

Department of Education guidelines Fees are payable for all permanent booked days including sick days as per Australian Government.

If bookings are cancelled within the Cancellation Policy terms, no fees will be charged. Please refer to your Services Fee Schedule to find out the relevant cancellation policy details.

What happens when we go on holidays?
